ABOUT US

The Geo Political Insights (GPI) is a premier organization that defines thought leadership in risk management for the political industry. GPI brings together leaders from industry, academia, and government to draw actionable insights on risks globally.

Geo Political Insights is a preeminent source of ideas on political insights.

Through engagement activities with our members, we build integrated insights for private and public sector professionals. We also act as a hub, stimulating evidence-based debate between regulators, practitioners, and academics engaged in risk.

From democracy to dictatorship and local councils to international organisations, GPI examines how power is obtained, kept, lost, mobilised, divided, used and abused. It asks who gains and who loses from these processes and why. Politics is studied in theory and in practice, often using scientitic methods.

The GPI believes that the promotion of equality and diversity should be core values for the practice of politics as well as the study and teaching of politics. Statistics suggest that 31 per cent of political scientists are female, less than 15 per cent of the discipline’s professoriate is female and under 4 per cent have a black or ethnic minority background.

Our Geo Political Insights team brings a broad scope of experience and expertise to plan, strategize and execute the collective understanding of political risk through research, education, and training. At GPI, we believe we’re at our best when our employees connect their personal purpose to their work and our firm’s purpose.
